February 21, 2015 will commemorate Ottawa’s 1st Annual Polar Bear Plunge to held at TD Place.
Led by Special Olympic Athlete Ambassador, Gold Medalist and Carleton University faithful, Melanie Heroux and others will be running from under the South Side stands of TD Place into an ICE COLD above ground pool!
This event ‘Freezin’ For A Reason’ is to raise awareness and fundraise for the Special Olympics Ontario 2015 Provincial Floor Hockey Championships. The event will be held from May 7-9, 2015 right here at Carleton University and will involve 24 teams, 384 athletes, 72 coaches and over 400 volunteers, parents, caregivers and supporters.
