Another week of our Friday Intramural Ice Hockey League has been completed and still no team has been able to figure Athletics Blue (formerly Athletics Red), who moved to 3-0 on the season with another victory. The men and women in Blue pulled out an exciting 6-5 victory over Athletics Maroon this past Friday in a nail biter of a game to maintain their undefeated streak. The high-scoring Athletics Blue has now netted an impressive 18 goals in their first three games this season.
The other match-up this week featured another high-scoring affair between Athletics Gold and Athletics Grey. Athletics Grey was able to get off the schneid by winning their first game of the season 7-5 and handing Athletics Gold their second last in as many weeks in the process.
The action continues this coming Friday with two match-ups that should wet your appetite. Athletics Blue will seek to continue their winning streak when they battle Athletics Green at 1 pm. While at 2 pm, Athletics Grey will try to make in two wins in two weeks when they take to the ice against Athletics Maroon, who will be looking to bounce back after a tough loss this past Friday.
