Intramural Recap: Dodgeball April 5

By Tori McNeely

The 2017 Winter Dodgeball season has come to an end. Two rounds of semi-finals were followed by an intense final round!

At 7:00pm C-Eng scored an easy win of 3 – 0 against HMCS Sandy. We’d expect nothing less of this first place team. The tone was set after winning the first round within minutes. Despite playing against the top place team, HMCS Sandy put in a great amount of CUintra effort!

Kings & Queens won 3 – 0 against Average Joe’s Gymnasium in the second round of semi-finals at 7:45pm. The crowd was in awe after a Kings & Queens player took down the last two players on the opposing team within a matter of seconds. Talk about strategy! Average Joe’s Gymnasium was completely pressured to the point where they were forced to retreat to the back of their side of the court

C – Eng and Kings & Queens took to the court in the final round of this season’s CUintra dodgeball. These teams had the same standing before tonight, with 8 wins and 2 losses. Kings & Queens (featured above) pulled through with a 3 – 1 win but unlike their semi-final game this was no easy win.

Hope to see everyone again in the fall for some more Twitter worthy CUintra action!
