Throughout the month of April, Carleton Athletics is offering FREE fitness classes! Two classes will be offered each week, with the first class kicking off tomorrow at noon. Change up your fitness routine or try something new! With a mix of stretching, agility and cardio classes, there are workouts available for all levels of fitness.
The first class is Pilates For All on Tuesday, April 9th at 12:05 PM in the Yoga Studio. Pilates provides a multitude of positive benefits, including improved flexibility and toning and strengthing core muscle groups. If you are trying pilates for the first time, or if you’re already an expert, the instructor will provide you with modifications meant to challenge a mix of experience levels.
On Thursday, April 11, check out Bodyworks for a group instructional workout set to high-intensity music. This class kicks off at 5:00 PM and provides you with a quick jolt of endorphins for the end of the day! Bodyworks will make you sweat but leave you with a smile as the instructor takes you through a mix of bodyweight and equipment exercises. Come to the multipurpose room in the Ice House (through Athletics) to complete this 1-hour workout.
