From local sprint events to the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii in 2022, he has experienced the sport at every level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His ongoing pursuit of improvement keeps him engaged with the latest research and training methods, always looking for new ways to elevate physical performance, mental resilience, and equipment efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"qualifications\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coaching Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Triathlon Ontario \/ Triathlon Canada Certified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coaching Association of Canada Certified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trainingpeaks Level 1 Certified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Athlete Roster includes:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National Medalists and National Team Members<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Olympians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Racing Qualifications (<\/strong><strong>13+<\/strong> years of triathlon training and racing experience):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Age Group Team Canada Qualifier (2025-2026)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sprint Distance Duathlon Provincial Championships, Bronze Medal (2024)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International Distance Duathlon Provincial Championships, Bronze Medal (2023)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ironman world championship qualifier (2022)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5x Ironman completions (2015-2022)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Age group podium finishes at provincial-level sprint, olympic, half-iron distance events in Quebec + Ontario (2021-present)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"how-i-coach\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How I Coach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I believe in a balance between data-driven and narrative-based approaches to coaching and training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We know that endurance performance gains come from repeated cycles of accumulating training stress followed by recovering. We can mine individual performance data to understand how to optimize training for a particular athlete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, this data only has value in context. And this context is how the athlete feels on any given day, and other sources of stress elsewhere in their lives.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is why I believe a frequent two-way flow of information between me and the athletes I coach.
