Trainer\n                    <\/h1>\n                \n                                    \n\n<p>The Personal Trainer is responsible for the <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">design and instruction of personal fitness programs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n                            <\/header>\n        <\/div>\n\n            <\/div>\n\n    \n\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After completing an assessment with clients, trainers design and implement training programs built specifically for each client\u2019s goals and needs. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trainers are responsible for following up with their clients and in providing education and motivation for clients to reach their fitness goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"responsibilities-including-but-not-exclusive-of\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities (including but not exclusive of)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meeting with clients to discuss training package options and guiding clients in the purchase of specific training sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing information in person or over the phone about personal training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contacting clients to arrange training sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Following up with emails and\/or phone calls with clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring of number of sessions completed with clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performing fitness assessments and par-q screening for new and returning clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing personalized fitness programs for clients and regularly performing updates to programs for continuing clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeping client records up to date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeping up with their CEC credits and maintaining their certifications \u2013 this includes CPR\/AED and First Aid (some discounts are provided through the department) and their personal training certifications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trainers may be asked to respond to emergency situations within the facility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"experience-skills-required\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Experience\/Skills Required<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A valid certification in personal training with a practical component or 1+ years of experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First Aid + CPR C<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<section
