\n Ravens Tennis Camp\n <\/h1>\n \n \n\n

The Ravens Tennis Camp<\/strong> has become one of Ottawa\u2019s most popular camps, with nearly 400 players participating last summer. Designed by coach Tony Milo<\/strong>, the camp is led by certified Tennis Canada coaches<\/strong> with extensive experience<\/strong>. Using the \u201cProgressive Tennis\u201d<\/strong> approach, clinics are tailored for younger players, with activities scaled to their skill level. <\/p>\n\n\n <\/header>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

Ravens Tennis Summer Camp<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Carleton Tennis Camp<\/strong>, designed by coach Tony Milo, follows the \u201cProgressive Tennis\u201d approach, where the game is tailored to younger players and becomes more challenging as they advance in age and skill. Campers are grouped with others at their same skill level, ensuring a personalized and supportive learning experience on the court, with 2\u20133 hours of tennis instruction throughout the day<\/strong>. Tennis racquets are available for campers who need one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When not playing tennis, campers get to enjoy a variety of other sports and activities, including soccer, basketball, ultimate, and floor hockey, in conjunction with our popular Ravens Multisport Camp<\/strong>. This mix keeps the day active, fun, and engaging while allowing campers to develop a wide range of athletic skills in a friendly and encouraging environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n * Swimming Supervision & Camp Swim Test\n <\/p>\n

\n Our aquatics team follows the\u00a0Ontario Lifesaving Society<\/strong>\u2019s standards for pool supervision, and all staff are fully trained and certified as\u00a0National Lifeguards,<\/strong>\u00a0ensuring the\u00a0highest level of safety and supervision for every swimmer<\/strong>. In addition, our camp counsellors are in the water with campers, providing an extra layer of support and supervision.

As per our admission standards, children under the age of 7 must wear a life jacket and are only permitted to swim in the shallow end. Campers aged 7 and older\u00a0may choose<\/strong>\u00a0to complete a swim test on the first day of each camp week. Those who pass the test can swim in both the shallow and deep ends, while those who do not pass (or choose not to take the test) must wear a life jacket and remain in the shallow end. Our aquatics centre provides life jackets in all sizes and ensures each one fits campers correctly for their safety and comfort.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n Ages & Friend Request\n <\/p>\n

\n Campers remain with the\u00a0same group<\/strong>\u00a0of similar ages\u00a0throughout the week, following a designated group schedule.

Parents can request for their child to be placed in the\u00a0same group as friends<\/strong>\u00a0by using the\u00a0friend request<\/em>\u00a0option during registration. While we strive to accommodate all requests,\u00a0friend requests cannot be guaranteed<\/strong>.

Requests involving significant age differences (e.g. a 7-year-old placed with a 11-year-old) may not be honored due to group dynamics.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
