This camp certifies participants in both Bronze Medallion & Emergency First Aid with CPR-C. Participants are provided with the knowledge, skill, fitness and judgment required to respond to complex water rescue situations in a fun filled camp setting! Participants learn tows, carries, defense methods and releases in preparation for challenging rescues of increased risk involving conscious, unconscious, and injured victim types.

The Canadian Lifesaving Manual (CLM) is required. The manual fee ($50) will be charged automatically when registering online. If you do not need a CLM, you can only opt-out of this purchase by calling (613 520-4480) or in person, at the Welcome Centre Desk in Alumni Hall.

Carleton University suspended vaccination & masking requirements for participation in in-person Carleton activities in May/June 2022. The evolution of Covid-19 and public health conditions are difficult to predict, so these decisions were contingent on current conditions and directions continuing. Masking and other safety measures may be reinstated at a later time. We recommend use of masks indoors when physical distance cannot be maintained.
