Strengthening Yoga

The combination of standing and floor postures moving with the breath in this practice will serve to strengthen and stretch the muscle groups that tend to be tenser, particularly the hamstrings, the iliopsoas muscles, the hip rotators and much more. Shoulder openers and arm balance will also be included to target muscles in the shoulders, arms and upper back. Variations and alternatives including tips for poses will be included. This class is taught by Irene.
