Looking to start exercising again after having a baby? This class is for you! This class is designed to build the foundations of strength and breath work required to safely get back to exercise.
In this class we’ll focus on building strength, learning breathing strategies and understanding how to modify the exercises you love. Each class will build on information learned in the previous class to teach participants all about the Pelvic Floor, Diastasis Recti, modifying pressure and breathing strategies.
*This class is for anyone who has given birth regardless of their gender, parental or sexual identity.*
Summary: This class is geared for anyone looking to start exercising after birth. This course will start with foundational breathing exercises and progress to more dynamic movements over the course of the class. Each class will have modifications for those who have progressed and for those who are still learning to manage pressure. The class will include 10 minutes of warm up, 30 minutes of work, 10 minutes of cool down and mobility work and 10 minutes of information. This information will include information on the pelvic floor, breathing strategies, management of pressure in the abdominal wall, and many other topics relevant to return to exercise after pregnancy.
