New Pool Wristband Policy: Effective December 1, 2025
Beginning December 1, Carleton University Athletics will introduce a new wristband policy for all public swims. This update reflects best practices across aquatic facilities and is designed to support a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.
All swimmers, including Aquafit participants, will be required to wear a Carleton Athletics–issued wristband to enter the pool. Children under 14 who do not pass or choose not to take the swim test will be required to remain in the shallow end for their safety.
