Course is designed to recertify those who hold Lifesaving Standard First Aid with CPR-C and AED.

Standard First Aid, CPR – C/AED Recertification

A review and evaluation course that refreshes and updates participants’ Standard First Aid and CPR skills to maintain current certification and competency.

Please Note (1):

If your LSS SFA is expired (more than 3 years from the initial certification date), candidates must do a 2-day Full-cert SFA course. You cannot take this LSS recertification if your last SFA course was also a recert.

Please Note (2):

Those who have SFA certifications from the Red Cross, St. John’s Ambulance, Canadian Ski Patrol or a Paramedic Service, CAN NOT recertify in this course.

This is for Lifesaving Society SFA recertification ONLY

Lifesaving Society Verification of Identity Policy

Candidates will be required to provide their Instructor/Examiner proof of government-issued ID with date of birth and name for all original vocational courses and recertification, effective January 1, 2026. For additional information please visit their website.
