Strength & Stretch Standup Paddle Board Fitness
Carleton University in partnership with Urban Ocean SUP is excited to introduce a fresh and fun way to stay fit—perfect for getting ready for your summer SUP adventures! Our Floating Fitness program combines prone paddling, planks, and other carefully chosen movements designed to build strength, improve balance and coordination, enhance flexibility, and increase overall mobility. Whether you’re new to SUP or looking to take your skills to the next level, this program offers a unique, full-body workout on the water.

Dress to get wet—you will get wet!
Wear comfortable, summer-ready activewear—similar to what you’d wear for a run.
Our classes use stand-up paddleboards anchored on one end to safely simulate the outdoor SUP experience in a pool environment.
All boards are carefully selected to suit all body types, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Equipment is included with your class—just bring yourself and your energy!
