Junior Ravens 4 on 4 Spring Hockey

Our Junior Ravens 4 on 4 spring hockey league will provide participants with fun, fast-paced, wide open hockey with no stoppages or faceoffs. The openness of the game will allow players more chances to move the puck, develop their skills, generate opportunities for breakaways and allow goalies to experience more action.

4 on 4 Spring Hockey

All games will be 22 minutes in length with two games occurring every one hour of ice time
When possible, games will be scheduled back to back or with a game break in between to minimize waiting time.
Teams will play at least two games every gameday. In order to ensure that players received equal ice time, a buzzer will sound every one minute and 30 seconds indicate a line change.
Parent volunteers will supervise the benches during games but no coaching will occur in order to encourage player creativity and learning.
The goal of the program is to provided a safe and structured environment that fosters learning, healthy competition and fun on and off the ice.

Age Requirements

Must be 5 – 12 years old.

Divisions

Full hockey equipment MUST include:

Skates, helmet with cage, gloves, shin pads, elbow pads, pants, shoulder pads, neck guard, stick

U7 (Ages 5 & 6): CO-ED

For first‑year hockey or more experienced beginners
No designated goaltenders; players rotate as goalie
Goalie equipment provided
Please bring:
- Full hockey equipment

U9 (Ages 7 & 8): CO-ED

For current or incoming House‑league players
If insufficient goalies register, players may be asked to volunteer as goalie
Full goalie equipment provided
Please bring:
- Full hockey equipment

U11 (Ages 9 & 10): CO-ED

For current or past House‑league players
Same goalie arrangement as U9, with equipment provided
Please bring:
- Full hockey equipment

U13 (Ages 11 & 12): CO-ED

For current or past House‑league players
Same goalie arrangement as U9/U11
Please bring:
- Full hockey equipment

Goalies

Receive a special discounted price when registering for our spring 4 on 4 hockey league.
100% guaranteed ice time; only one goalie per team
One friend request guaranteed where possible (priority by registration order)
Opportunity for extra games (covering absences elsewhere)
Must register under the appropriate goalie category for each division

Friend Requests

One per participant; must be reciprocal (no circular requests). Requests before March 16, 2025
A valid one-to-one friend request is when Player A requests to play with Player B and Player B requests to play with Player A.
A circular request (that will not be honoured) is when Player A requests to play with Player B, Player B requests to play with Player C, and Player C requests to play with Player A. All three of the requests in the circular example will be voided.
