The Junior Ravens Basketball program provides a fun and dynamic learning environment for kids to improve their basketball skills while staying active.

Junior Ravens Wheelchair Basketball Winter 2026
- Teaching basic skills such as pushing technique, dribbling, passing shooting, and will move into more advanced concepts such as team offensive and defensive strategies.
- Developing valuable teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership skills
- Wheelchair basketball is an inclusive sport that is open to children with and without disabilities.
We are thankful to Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities for selecting Carleton University to receive a grant from their Sport Relief Fund. With Jumpstart’s support, we are able to provide equipment, quality coaching and subsidized registration fees for all participants who attend our Junior Ravens Wheelchair basketball program.
The Junior Ravens Basketball program is run in partnership with The Ottawa Carleton Wheelchair Sports Association (OCWSA) and with the collaboration of the Abilities Ottawa (AO).

Have over 20 years of experience playing wheelchair basketball at all levels (local, provincial, and international) and are eager to share their passion and knowledge with the next generation of para-athletes.

Sport wheelchair when the program is running
Parking during program dates and times
Parking must be validated each time you park using a provided link and code.
Dates & Cost
The winter program has 11 sessions. The program cost is $149.
