Ravens Multi Para Sport Camp
The Ravens Multi Para Sport Camp is a fun day camp tailored children with physical disabilities. Our trained and experienced staff will ensure that all sports and activities occur in a positive, safe and inclusive environment.
Registration is now open for our 2026 Ravens Multi Para Sport Camp
The camp is running for two separate weeks. July 20 – July 24 & July 27 – July 31
Inclusion Criteria:
- Ages 8 to 18 years years old with a physical disability
- Campers can participate in a group environment with a 3:1 ratio (campers to staff).
- Campers who require 1:1 support will need their own personal support worker to accompany them. Carleton is unable to provide personal support workers for participants.
- Campers can communicate their needs verbally or with a communication device. Campers must be able to provide a consistent YES/NO response.
- Assistance with toileting can be provided by a trained staff member. Please indicate this need when registering.
- Assistance with feeding can be provided by a trained staff member. Please indicate this need when registering.
Ravens Multi Para Sport Camp
The Ravens Multi Para Sport Camp is a fun day camp tailored children with physical disabilities. Our trained and experienced staff will ensure that all sports and activities occur in a positive, safe and inclusive environment. It will offer a range of indoor and outdoor activities where campers will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of different sports which may include:
- Wheelchair basketball
- Wheelchair rugby
- Boccia ball
- Kinball
- Wheelchair tennis/pickleball, and other fun games.
A daily hot lunch is included with your registration.
Camp Coordinator: Sam Graham
Our Ravens Multi Para Sport Camp will be led by Sam Graham, an experienced and highly respected member of the para sport community. Sam has been involved in wheelchair basketball for more than 15 years and is a two-time recipient of Wheelchair Basketball Canada’s True Sport Award.
Since 2021, Sam has served as the head coach of our Junior Ravens Wheelchair Basketball program and is also the Co-President of the Ottawa Carleton Wheelchair Sports Association.
Beyond sport, Sam works as a Disabilities Coordinator and Learning Strategist with the Paul Menton Centre at Carleton University, bringing extensive experience supporting people with disabilities.
Parents can feel confident knowing the camp is guided by a leader who is deeply committed, knowledgeable, and passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment for every child.

Ravens Multi Para Sport Camp
Week 1: July 20 – July 24
Week 2: July 27 – July 31
Times
- Drop-Off: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
- Pick-Up: 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Early/Late supervision is available as an ‘add-on’ during registration for $30/week.
Early supervision runs from 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM.
Late supervision runs from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
Facilities

We are thankful to Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities for selecting Carleton University to receive a grant from their Sport Relief Fund. With Jumpstart’s support, we are able to provide quality adaptive equipment, subsidized registration fees and trained staff for all participants who attend our Ravens Multi Para Sport Camp.
