Aquatics Employment Positions
We welcome ongoing interest in employment opportunities. Resumes and qualifications can be submitted at any time to aquatics@carleton.ca. Candidates will be screened and interviewed as needed throughout the term.
Fall/Winter Application for 2025-2026
All applicants will be required to complete a screening process. This screening involve in-water assessment of guarding, first aid/CPR skills, along with a dry on-land interview portion related to instructional programming and personal relations skills.

Required Certifications
At minimum:
- Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard – Pool option
- Standard First Aid, CPR-C & AED
- Airway Management
- Lifesaving Swim Instructor
Assets:
- Lifesaving, SFA and/or NL Instructor
- Examiner designation in any stream;
- Instructor Trainer
