Ravens Tri Club: Early Bird Triathlon Training Program
Perfect for beginners or those new to the sport, the program includes a 12-week training plan, with 3 workouts per week hosted here at Carleton. These workouts are led by Ben Cohen, Founder and Head Coach of True Trail Triathlon, an expert triathlon coaching service here in Ottawa. This program will get you to the starting line and finish line feeling strong, prepared, and unafraid!

Includes:
- 12-week training plan designed by Coach Ben, leading up to the Somersault Early Bird Triathlon
- A 3-month all-inclusive membership to CU Athletics facilities, including pool access, the fitness centre, and CU Group fitness classes
- An introductory session for ability assessment
- 36 in-person workouts, led by Coach Ben (12 swims, 12 indoor cycling workouts, 12 run workouts)
- Free on-site parking
- 10% discount on registration for the Somersault Early Bird Triathlon on May 16th
- Discounts on additional coaching from Ben Cohen.

Program Kickoff
The program will begin with a meet-and-greet info session with Coach Ben on Monday, February 23, 2026 where all key program details, expectations, and training approaches will be reviewed.
Participants also receive a training template for sessions completed outside of coached workouts.
