Lifesaving and Emergency First Aid Instructor

This course prepares instructors to teach the Lifesaving Society’s
- Canadian Swim Patrol Program
- Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross
- Basic and Emergency First Aid, and CPR-A, CPR-B and CPR-C
Required
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Lifesaving Instructor Pack
- This pack includes:
- Instructor Manual
- Swim Patrol Award Guide
- Bronze Medals Award Guide
- First Aid Award Guide
- Leadership Binder
Prerequisites
- Bronze Cross certification (need not be current).
Please Note
This is a 20hr course. Candidates are progressively evaluated, so 100% attendance is required. There is both classroom and pool components. Please bring a bathing suit and towel

- Arrivals for this course should should check-in at the Welcome Centre Desk in Alumni Hall
- Note: Lot 5 parking is not Free
- Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes before the start of the class
- Registration is required in advance and space is limited.
