Preschool 1
Give your child a head start with the Lifesaving Society Preschool 1 program which is designed specifically for young swimmers aged 3 to 5 years. The program is meant to make your child comfortable in the water and have fun acquiring and developing a foundation of water skills.
Preschool Level 1
- Entering and exiting the water safely
- Jumping into chest-deep water with assistance
- Gliding on front and back (with lifejacket)
- Blowing bubbles underwater
- Floating on front and back for 3 seconds (with instructor support)
- Swimmers will learn Water Smart messages to be safe in and around the water.
Required
- Children must be 3-5 years old
- No previous swim experience required

We do not run children’s group lessons during the summer session due to the volume of children’s summer camp programming.

Important Notes
- Refunds or credits for missed private/semi-private or group lessons will not be provided.
- Make-up lessons can not be arranged, and substitute (non-registered) swimmers are not permitted.
- Please arrive (10-15) minutes before the start of the class and proceed to the Welcome Centre Desk to check-in before going to the pool-deck.
- There will be several showers available for brief usage.
- The main locker rooms will be available and some lockers are available for day use.
- Bringing clothes & valuables to the pool deck in a gym-bag is recommended.
- Includes Lot 5 Parking.
- Registration is required in advance and space is limited.
- The Pool Gallery is available for parent/guardians.
