Preschool 5
Give your child a head start with the Lifesaving Society Preschool 5 program which is designed specifically for young swimmers aged 3 to 5 years. This level will allow your child to become comfortable in the water and have fun acquiring and developing a foundation of water skills.
Winter 2026 Registration Opens
December 10th, @ 9am
Preschool Level 5
These youngsters get more adventuresome with a forward roll entry wearing a lifejacket and treading water for 10 sec. They’ll work on front and back crawl swims for 5 m, interval training, and get a giggle out of whip kick.

We do not run children’s group lessons during the summer session due to the volume of children’s summer camp programming.

Important Notes
- Refunds or credits for missed private/semi-private or group lessons will not be provided.
- Make-up lessons can not be arranged, and substitute (non-registered) swimmers are not permitted.
- Please arrive (10-15) minutes before the start of the class and proceed to the Welcome Centre Desk to check-in before going to the pool-deck.
- There will be several showers available for brief usage.
- The main locker rooms will be available and some lockers are available for day use.
- Bringing clothes & valuables to the pool deck in a gym-bag is recommended.
- Includes Lot 5 Parking.
- Registration is required in advance and space is limited.
- The Pool Gallery is available for parent/guardians.
