Intermediate First Aid, CPR-C/AED Recertification Course
Course is designed to recertify those who currently hold Standard or Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C and AED.
Intermediate First Aid, CPR – C/AED Recertification
A review and evaluation course that refreshes and updates participants’ Standard First Aid and CPR skills to maintain current certification and competency.
Required
- A current Standard or Intermediate First Aid certification which cannot be expired and it must be issued by any WSIB approved agency.
- Proof of your last full-cert Standard or Intermediate First Aid Level certification (this must be presented at the course)
Please Note (1):
If your full-cert Standard or Intermediate First Aid Level certification is expired (more than 3 years from the initial certification date), candidates must do a 2-day Full-cert Intermediate First Aid course. You cannot take this Intermediate First Aid recertification if your last Standard or Intermediate First Aid course was also a recert.
Please Note (2):
As of June 22, the term “Standard” is being replaced with “Intermediate” in the title of First Aid courses and qualification.
Lifesaving Society Verification of Identity Policy
Candidates will be required to provide their Instructor/Examiner proof of government-issued ID with date of birth and name for all original vocational courses and recertification, effective January 1, 2026. For additional information please visit their website.
