Aquatics Employment Positions
We welcome ongoing interest in employment opportunities. Resumes and qualifications can be submitted at any time to aquatics@carleton.ca. Candidates will be screened and interviewed as needed throughout the term.
Application Process
All applicants will be required to complete a screening process. This screening involve in-water assessment of guarding, first aid/CPR skills, along with a dry on-land interview portion related to instructional programming & personal relations skills.

Fall application submission will open early July and the in-person screening will be August 29th @ 9:00am

Required Certifications
At minimum:
- Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard – Pool option
- Standard First Aid, CPR-C & AED
- Airway Management
- Lifesaving Swim Instructor
Assets:
- Lifesaving, SFA and/or NL Instructor
- Examiner designation in any stream;
- Instructor Trainer
Successful candidates (18yr+) will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Check Level) upon hire.
