Learn to Swim – Level 2 (Adults)
This intermediate level aims to teach the basic stroke mechanics of front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke.
Fall Regestration is Open
Level 2
- Will develop endurance and swimming ability
- Kick it up a notch working on two interval training workouts of 4 x 25 m kicking and front or back crawl
- Be able to perform dive entries and demonstrate breaststroke arms and breathing over 10-15 m.
- Supporting yourself at the surface for 1-2 minutes, and showing off your handstands in shallow water.
Required
- Must be at least 14 years old
- Comfortable submerging and exhaling underwater
- Float and glide comfortably on your own
- Comfortable in deep water with PFD

- Refunds or credits for missed private/semi-private or group lessons will not be provided.
- Make-up lessons can not be arranged, and substitute (non-registered) swimmers are not permitted.
- Please arrive (10-15) minutes before the start of the class and proceed to the Welcome Centre Desk to check-in before going to the pool-deck.
- There will be several showers available for brief usage.
- The main locker rooms will be available and some lockers are available for day use.
- Bringing clothes & valuables to the pool deck in a gym-bag is recommended.
- Includes Lot 5 Parking.
- Registration is required in advance and space is limited.
