Airway Management
Airway Management certification provides senior and experienced lifeguards with specific knowledge and training in the use of oxygen, suction devices, oral airways and bag-valve-masks.
Required
- Lifesaving Society Standard/Intermediate First Aid or;
- Standard/Intermediate First Aid from a training agency approved by the Ontario Ministry of Labour.

Lifesaving Society Verification of Identity Policy
Candidates will be required to provide their Instructor/Examiner proof of government-issued ID with date of birth and name for all original vocational courses and recertification, effective January 1, 2026. For additional information please visit their website.

- Effective January 1, 2026, a Capital Renewal Fee (CRF) of 3% will apply to select non-student facility rentals, programs, and services. - Lot 5 parking is not free
- Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes before the start of the class
