Sunday Rec Coed Intramural Basketball continued this past weekend at the Ravens’ Nest with Week 2 of the regular season. Three games featuring all six teams took place and featured its share of sweet shooting, precise passing, and dazzling dribbling.
In the first game, the Bandwagoners took on the uniquely named “Rowers at Heart but Balls in Deep.” The Bandwagoners were able to roll to an 80-35 victory by utilizing their strong shooting skills and hitting several long range shots that would even impress Stephen Curry!
Game two saw team McNabb defeat the Tropics by 42-23 thanks in large part to some impressive passing and teamwork! This McNabb team play an entertaining style of basketball and will certainly be a team to keep an eye on during this season!
The final game of the afternoon featured the Dablings and the Flaming Jalapenos. The Dablings strong athleticism proved to be a bit too much for the Flaming Jalapenos and hence, they were able to secure the victory and join the Bangwagoners and McNabb in the winner’s circle this week. In fact, after two weeks, all three of these teams (Bandwagoners, McNabb, and the Dablings) are undefeated and will look to continue their winning ways this coming Sunday.
Speaking of this coming Sunday, we again will have three dandy match-ups on tap for you! The game that is generating the most buzz is the one that will feature a pair of undefeated teams as the Bandwagoners will do battle with McNabb at 3 pm. Other games this Sunday include those Rowers at Heart but Balls in Deep taking on the Flaming Jalapenos as well as the Dablings clashing with the Tropics!
January 31 Schedule:
3 pm- Bandwagoners vs. McNabb
