In light of the Province’s and the City of Ottawa’s recent announcement regarding summer camps, Carleton Athletics is pleased to announce that we will be offering a selection of modified camps to our community. These camps will follow a half-day model with morning and afternoon offerings. Our new camps are scheduled to begin on Monday, July 6.

Multisport Camp (ages 5 to 14), Basketball Camp, Soccer Camp, Fencing Camp, Hockey Camp & Ringette Camp

These camps will follow the advice and guidelines provided by Ontario Public Health and other health agencies such as Ottawa Public Health and the Public Health Agency of Canada.

In addition, Carleton Athletics will be moving some of our summer camps to an online format.  These online camps include:

Leadership in Training

Advanced Aquatics Certifications

High Performance Conditioning

Creative Writing

Additional information about precautionary measures that will be in place to ensure the safety of camp participants is available by clicking here.

Currently we are working and giving priority to our registered campers. We will open registration to the public starting June 26.

Thank you for your patience during these uncertain times.

About Summer Camps

Summer camp capacities are typically based on our indoor facilities, so that in the event of inclement weather we can offer a full range of programming to all of our participants. Given the unique climate of our 2020 programs in light of COVID-19, our indoor access will be limited and used in inclement weather conditions.

For the summer of 2020, the camps will make use of the full range of Carleton University’s modern Physical Recreation Centre facilities: including the Ravens’ Nest, Fieldhouse, tennis bubble, Norm Fenn Gymnasium, MNP Field, and turf Ravens’ Field. Whenever possible, programming will be directed outdoors in keeping with city and provincial guidelines and best practice
