2024 Ravens Baseball Camp (Ages 7-12)

The Ravens Summer Baseball Camp is designed for beginner and intermediate players as players will be grouped according to skill, age and gender (where appropriate). The goal of the program is to introduce new players to the game of baseball in a positive and safe environment. Players with more experience will be challenged to improve their skill set and expand their knowledge of the game.

The program is designed and instructed by our Ravens’ varsity baseball players and other baseball specialists.

The majority of the day will be spent on baseball related activities with skills such as fielding, catching, hitting and pitching being emphasized.

New for 2024: A full cafeteria lunch is INCLUDED with our Ravens Baseball camp.

Registration for our summer land camps opened on Tuesday, January 16 at 9:00am.

Facilities

The Ravens Baseball camp makes use of the full range of Carleton University’s modern indoor and outdoor facilities. These facilities include Raven Field, Ravens Perch (stadium field), Fieldhouse, Norm Fenn Gymnasium and our Olympic-sized swimming pool.

Each day we prepare two complete schedules, one including outdoor activities and lessons for good days and the other for wet or excessively hot days which takes place entirely indoors. There is no need to worry about campers being bored if the weather turns bad.

Off Campus Activities:

Parents please note that for parts of the day, your child will be playing baseball on one of the diamonds at Brewer Park. Brewer Park is located directly east of athletics. To get to and from the baseball diamond, your child will be walking safely with our counsellors.

What’s Included

The registration fee includes a t-shirt, recreational swim and a full cafeteria lunch. Please note our cafeteria does not use any peanut or tree nuts in their recipes, and does not purchase products with peanuts or tree nuts in the ingredient list. However, there is always a risk of cross-contamination due to its open kitchens and self-serve style. Hence, we advise parents of children with food allergies to communicate these allergies to us when registering.
