Eight teams started, and now only four remain. Such is the situation in Division A of the Coed Intramural Soccer (Mon-Fri) League here at Carleton. The two semifinal matchups will both take place at 6 pm on Monday, November 30 followed immediately by the final at 7 pm in what is sure to be an entertaining end to what has been a fantastic season!

In one semifinal, the number one ranked Se7en United will take on the fourth ranked Kungfu Panda Nation. Se7en United had their quest for a perfect season shattered when they lost to JDCC Sprott 5-4 in their final regular season game while Kungfu Panda Nation enters the playoffs on a two game losing skid. The two teams met during the regular season with Se7en United coming out on top 6-0; however none of that matters now as we enter the “second season” and both teams will need to bring their ‘A’ game if they want to walk out of the Fieldhouse on Monday with the title of “Intramural Champions.”

In the other semifinal, the regular season runner-up JDCC Sprott will battle the third ranked Five. JDCC Sprott is on a two game winning streak including their aforementioned victory over the previously undefeated Se7en United. Five defeated JDCC Sprott 5-3 in the two teams’ only meeting during the regular season and will be looking to perform a similar feat on Monday night. Without question, this will be game that is action-packed and full of excitement (as all of them are).

Fitness will be of the utmost importance as the two semifinal winners will turnaround right after to play in the final at 7 pm. The champion will be a team that not only possesses a blend of skill and teamwork, but is also well-conditioned. Who will that be? Head down to the Fieldhouse or follow @RavensCentre on Twitter on Monday night to find out!
