Three weeks of our Friday Intramural Hockey League are now in the books and the action is really starting to heat up! This week was again full of fast-paced, exciting action that has us anxiously anticipating the weeks to come!
Our first match-up of Week 3 saw Athletics Maroon clash with Athletics Green. Both team battled hard in what was a very evenly matched game that eventually ended in a 4-4 draw. With the tie, Athletics Green has now, in three games this season, picked up a win, a loss, and a tie, while Athletics Maroon now has one loss and a tie in two games this season.
Our second matchup featured a pair of teams that had yet to lose in the young season as Athletics Gold took on Athletics Red. A spirited affair saw Athletics Red come out on top by a score of 4-0 and in the process, establish themselves as the early favourite this season.
We again have two beauty games on tap for you this coming Friday! At 1 pm, Athletics Gold will look to bounce back after their first loss of the season when they battle Athletics Grey, while Athletics Red will look to continue their winning ways when they lock horns with Athletics Maroon at 2 pm.
