Co-ed volleyball Monday night featured a mix of teams from both Division A and B. The first game was between Digs out for Hurambe (DOFH) and Banana SPLIT. DOFH began the game on a high morale as the players were excited to commence their first game of the season. They dominated the first set. In the second set, Banana SPLIT upped their game. They tied up the board numerous times but in the end, DOFH came out on top 25-23.
The second game of the night was between Netflix and Athletics 1. Both teams played their best but last season’s favourites, the Netflix team played showed no mercy. They won the first set with a 15-point difference and though Athletics 2 did pick up the pace during the second set, they were bested by Netflix who won 2-0.
