This program will accommodate participants swimming for personal fitness, triathlon training and Masters competition. Workouts will include aerobic and anaerobic sessions, proper warm up and stretching techniques and timed effort swims. Graduated workouts will be provided, as well as stroke improvement through technical drill practice and bio-mechanical analysis. Participants need to be able to swim 1000 meters in an hour and must already know 2 or 3 competitive strokes as Masters is not a learn-to-swim program. Workouts range from 2000-3500 meters. Participants should be able to swim 2-3 competitive strokes, this is not a learn-to-swim program.

This program is for Members only – Staff/Faculty, Carleton Student and Community Members (All-Inclusive categories, Morning, Senior Ravens & Swim Only).

Spring ‘Bonus’ Master’s Drop-In Swim Workout Sessions

Join us for a series of ‘Bonus’ coached swim workouts designed specifically for existing Master’s swimmers to give them a little extra to finish off the winter term! These drop-in coached workouts are also a perfect opportunity bring along a friend or family member and introduce them to our Master’s program. Swimmers pay a drop-in fee of $7.00 per session and each Master’s swim is welcome to bring along a friend or family member (aged 14+) who is not enrolled in the Master’s program to participate as well.

Please note:
Those who are not currently Master’s Swim members must be accompanied by a Master’s swimmer to participate in these sessions.

  • Drop-In Fee: $7.00 per swimmer
  • Payment Process: Payment is provided at the Welcome Center up on arrival. Please bring your receipt to the coach on deck to verify that you’ve paid for that individual session.
