Our Women’s Only Learn to Swim programs is taught & supervised by qualified female instructors.
Level 2
The objective for this program is to increase the participant’s endurance swimming ability by improving stroke efficiency and mechanics. The strokes that will be taught are front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke. This program also strives to enhance water safety knowledge and skills relevant to the student. Kick it up a notch working on two interval training workouts of 4 x 25 m kicking and front or back crawl. You’ll be able to perform dive entries and demonstrate breaststroke arms and breathing over 10-15 m. You’ll be supporting yourself at the surface for 1-2 minutes, and showing off your handstands in shallow water.

Each session consists of (5) x 45 minute classes. General fee: $110 + HST.
Carleton U Students: $84 + HST
Note: Refunds or credits for missed private/semi-private or group lessons will not be provided. Make-up lessons can not be arranged, and substitute (non-registered) swimmers are not permitted.
