Preschool 1

Give your child a head start on learning to swim. The Lifesaving Society Preschool program develops an appreciation and healthy respect for the water before these kids get in too deep. In our basic aquatic progressions we work to ensure 3 to 5-year olds become comfortable in the water and have fun acquiring and developing a foundation of water skills. We incorporate Lifesaving Society Water Smart® education in all Preschool levels.

Preschool 1 – Swimmers must be 3-5 year of age to enter Preschool 1. Swimmers will become comfortable in the water by learning to move and glide with a lifejacket on. They will learn how to safely enter, exit, and jump into the water as well as to float on their front and back for 3 seconds and blow bubbles with the assistance of their instructor. Swimmers will learn Water Smart messages to be safe in and around the water.

Winter 2025 session #1 – Friday(s) 5:30pm Jan 17 – Feb 14

Winter 2025 session #2 – Friday(s) 5:30pm Feb 28 – Apr 4 [no class Mar 14]

 

Each session consists of (5) 30 minute classes: $76

Note: Refunds or credits for missed private/semi-private or group lessons will not be provided. Make-up lessons can not be arranged, and substitute (non-registered) swimmers are not permitted.
