  • Equipment to Bring: Glove, baseball pants or sweat pants/shorts, indoor running shoes (no cleats), and jock/jill cup.

As a foundation, players will be taught the importance or warming-up and maintaining arm health and durability.  Our pitchers progress through basic aspects of throwing to pitch mechanics including grip, lower body push and stride, release point and follow-through.  Depending on player progression and age the pitcher will also be introduced to more advanced skills including mental preparation, pitch variety, holding runners, and fielding.

  • Equipment to Bring: Glove, baseball pants or sweat pants/shorts, indoor running shoes (no cleats), and jock/jill cup.

Players will be introduced to the science of hitting including preparation, grip, mechanics including stride, swing plane, rotation and separation to produce reliable contact and power.  As the weeks progress, players will be taught situational hitting including intent, increased bat control and hitting for power.  The goal is to develop a high level of awareness and hitting IQ alongside solid mechanics to elevate batting performance.
