As Canada and the world respond to COVID-19, Carleton is also monitoring the situation very closely. While the pandemic constantly evolves, we continue to hold the safety and well-being of all of our constituents paramount in all decision making.

In conjunction with recent steps taken by the University, Carleton Athletics is cancelling the Junior Ravens Spring Football program.

This is our son’s 3rd year at Jr. Ravens Football camp for a reason: we are impressed that our son’s skills consistently improve, and  he loves the camp. We can guarantee you will feel good watching the Jr. Ravens football coaches and your kids interact. The positive energy and encouragement that the coaches invest is guaranteed to assure parents that their kids are in good hands. The staff are 100% focussed on skill development and making sure your son or daughter is the best athlete that they can be.

This is the best run camp we have ever enrolled our son in. We highly recommend it.” – Jennifer Gillespie, Jr Ravens Parent

Junior Carleton Ravens Football provides age and skill-appropriate football training for youth between the age of 4-17. Winter and spring training sessions offer 4 development streams of programming: Just PLAY!Introduction, Advanced, and High-Performance.

The Just PLAY! football stream aims to build a foundation of athletic skills in a non-contact setting, creating a fun, safe, and active environment for all participants to learn the game!

Looking to try tackle football?

The Introduction stream is the perfect place for new players to develop FUNdamental football skills and techniques such as running, catching, throwing, tackling, and blocking. Through a progression of safe drills and games which promote self-confidence, teamwork, and fun through the game of football, this is the best place to learn the game.

The Advanced programs reintroduce the everyday skills that are required to becoming a competitive football player. Competition and position-specialization, are the guiding principles. The High-Performance “Prospects” program is the most comprehensive and widely endorsed training for the returning athlete in football. All athletes must meet the assessment criteria in order to move into advanced programming.
