2024 Ravens Multisport Camp (Ages 5-14)

The Ravens Multisport Camp is a fun and friendly day camp tailored for active children 5 to 14 years old. Our Multisport camp will keep campers busy during summer holidays with a range of fun indoor and outdoor activities.

Campers stay with the same group for the week and follow their own unique group schedule. Campers will be placed in groups of similar age. Parents can request for campers to be placed in the same group as their friends by using the friend request prompt when registering. Please note we do our best to honour all friend requests but they are not guaranteed.

Junior Multisport = Ages 5 to 7 years old
Intermediate Multisport = Ages 8 to 10 years old
Senior Multisport = Ages 11 to 14 years old

CONTINUING FOR SUMMER 2024: A full cafeteria lunch will be offered as an optional add-on to your summer camp registration at a cost of $48 per week ($38.40 for a 4 day camp).

Camp Price

The Ravens Multisport Camp will cost $285 ($257 for 4 days) without a cafeteria lunch add on.

Sports Camp Activities

The aim of this camp is to provide children daily instruction and participation in a wide range of sports & activities which may include:

• Floor Hockey, Basketball, Track & Field
• European handball, Field Hockey, Soccer,
• Squash, Tchoukball, Ultimate, Touch Rugby
• Lacrosse, Flag Football, Water Games

Every week of our Multisport camp, campers will follow a different sport and activity schedule so campers who attend multiple weeks will participate in different activities and sports.

Facilities

The Ravens Multisport camp makes use of the full range of Carleton University’s modern indoor and outdoor facilities, so there is no need to worry about kids being bored if the weather turns bad. Each day we prepare two complete schedules, one including outdoor activities for good days and the other for wet or excessively hot days which takes place entirely indoors. The facilities used include Raven Field, Ravens Perch (stadium field), Fieldhouse, Olympic-sized swimming pool with diving boards, multipurpose rooms and the Norm Fenn Gymnasium.

What’s Included

The registration fee includes a t-shirt and recreational swim. Please note that a full cafeteria lunch will be offered as an optional add-on to your summer camp registration as a cost of $48 per week ($38.40 for a 4 day camp). Parents also have the option to pack nutritious lunch for their child as an alternative. Campers in the same group who bring their own lunch will sit together at a location outside of the main cafeteria dinning area.

Our cafeteria does not use any peanut or tree nuts in their recipes, and does not purchase products with peanuts or tree nuts in the ingredient list. However, there is always a risk of cross-contamination due to its open kitchens and self-serve style. Hence, we advise parents of children with food allergies to communicate these allergies to us when registering.

Swim lessons are not included with our Ravens Multisport Camp or specialty camps. Our Mini-Ravens camp (ages 4 to 5) includes a daily swim lesson rather than a recreational swim.

Age Range

Children who are 5 and 14 years old.

Dates & Times

• Our Ravens Multisport Camp runs for 9 Weeks from July 2 to August 30
• The hours of the camp are from 8:30am to 4:30pm daily
  • Drop off is from 8:30am to 9:00am
  • Pick up is from 4:00pm to 4:30pm
  • Drop off & Pick up will take place outdoors on TAAG Park (stadium field).
• Optional Early/late care will be offered at a cost of $30 for the week.
  • Early care runs from 7:30am to 8:30am
  • Late care runs from 4:30pm to 5:30pm
