What is strength training all about? How do you get started? Which exercises are the best ones? What about form? What if I can’t do a push up? Is it appropriate for weight loss?

Let us show you the answers! You will go from learning the theory behind the importance of strength training to mastering the technique behind bodyweight, free weight and barbell training. Our qualified instructors will take you through a progressive training program that will help you gain a better understanding of exercise and program design, help you increase your strength and, most importantly, your confidence in and out of the gym.

Notes: Participants will be taught proper warm up techniques, training principles, and exercise application. Participants will be taught how to scale exercises to their appropriate level.

 

Level 2:

Now that you’ve got the basics for strength training, let’s build on it. Learn more exercises & techniques with the same and new equipment. Expand your confidence in program design. Learn more about form, because as you know, form is everything! Let’s dig a little deeper into the health and wellness side of fitness.

You will expand your learning of the theory behind the importance of strength training and master the techniques behind bodyweight, free weight, adaptations with equipment, and barbell training. Our qualified instructors will take you through the next step of this progressive training program and help you gain a deeper understanding of exercise and program design, scaled exercise, help you increase your strength and, most importantly, your confidence in and out of the gym.

Notes: Participants must have completed level one before taking level 2.
